      Compact Design UST Offering Seamless Connectivity with External Devices      


■ SC-8237 miniUST, a multi protocol converter, provides connectivity with up to 2 lines 
  lines from external devices, and packs a wide range of communication protocols and 
  functions into a unit as small as A4 size.
■ SC-8237 ensures trouble-free connection between such computers running UNIX, 
  Linux and Windows.

◇ Multi Protocol Support
Standard compatibility is provided with a variety of protocols such as JBA(Japan Banking Association), JCA, BSC families, HDLC, asynchronous BASIC families, Async families, LAPB, X.25, and B revised half duplex. Easy connection to Ethernet (TCP/IP) with external systems via switched, leased, PSPDN, or ISDN lines, and devices that use special protocols. Also solves complicated procedures that were once considered problematic by adding new functions, allows users to build a highly reliable on-line system.

◇ Stress-free Transmission Speed
Offers communication performance of up to 96 Kbps for a total of two ports (128 Kbps for LAPB and X.25), offering robust networking between hosts and terminals that are communicating on an increasingly large scale. Also has one-touch switch for 10BASE-T/5, becoming more and more user-friendly.

◇ Safety Structure
Equipped with several kinds of error detection systems for easy problem determination and adopts a single board for both LANs and WANs, increased reliability and maintainability. Has a full range of safety measures including the battery backups for all RAM and monitoring system for the fan.

◇ Quick Maintenance
Equipped with a port for connection to a PC. Easy UST setup boots maintenance utilities from PCs that have superior GUIs (Graphic User Interfaces). Also provides various kinds of maintenance functions.
