NTP standard protocol enables the linkage to multiple time servers. Distributes the standard time with higher precision and eliminates various time-related problems in operations of various business systems.
Highly precise time management is widely realized with telephone JJY or GPS. Both the accurate business system operation and the linkage between the systems are powerfully backed up.

◇ Three time sources
Three types of time sources are available, GPS, telephone JJY, and secondary server. Acquiring status of each time source is displayed by LEDs on the front panel.

◇ Equipped with ultra-precise clock
Equipped with ultra-precise internal clock with the accuracy of max.10ms a day, highly precise time control is realized on the network.

◇ Space saving compact body
High performance is realized in a compact body of size with the height of 1U. For telephone JJY type, a modem is built in the body.

◇ Adopting advanced protocol
NTPv3/v4 is adopted for time distribution protocol. The linkage with other time servers makes it possible to maintain the time precision even in case of troubles. Furthermore, it is adaptable to IPv6.

◇ Adopting GPS which boasts of highly accurate time correction
Adopting GPS which has the time correction accuracy of 1ms inherently, TS-2540 strongly supports the time management of business systems. Normally the positioning of four GPS satellites are required to get the precise time, but our prefix positioning mode allows the time acquisition with only one GPS satellite.

◇ Easy configuration of secondary server
Two Ethernet ports make it possible to configure Stratum1 time server that distributes the high precision standard time to Stratum2 time servers inside the intranet.

◇ Extensive control functions
It is possible not only to implement various settings and operational status checking on the Web, but also to monitor and check the operational status with general monitor software, owing to SNMP support.

Two types of systems are available. Selection is allowed according to regions and locations:
The Low Frequency JJY type system receives time information by low-frequency standard radio wave, on the basis of the SEIKO TimeLink (tm) PRO technology. This type does not require installation of outdoor wiring.
The FM type system receives the radio wave through specially-built antenna or television community antenna outlet.
You can choose the best type depending on your location or area.

◇ Improved serviceability and reliability
A web client is allowed to specify various settings easily and to check detailed operating status. A clearly legible LCD is provided on the front panel, always displaying information to support various settings and operation status.
