◇ Balancing function
It enables optimum distribution from clients' requests to servers by using load dispatching algorithm such as round robin (with preconception). Dispersion of access reduces the load of each Web servers.

◇ Session Persistency
By identifying clients based on the information such as cookie, URL, SSL session ID, or source IP address, SX-3640 LBH/LSH achieves persistent sessions. It enables the related requests to be dispatched to the same server.

◇ Health Check
By sending PING or requests to TCP/UDP ports and/or applications, SX-3640 LBH/LSH monitors the running condition. If a failure is detected, the server will be shut off from the LAN.

◇ Failover
SX-3640 LBH/LSH supports the failover function in active or standby mode. It enables the operation in redundant configuration.

◇ SSL Acceleration
As an option, it supports SSL acceleration function, which optimizes the encipherment of SSL sessions. It enables new 700 sessions per second, process of up to 10000 sessions, registration of plural certificates of servers, and authentication of clients.
