Home > Engineering > Versatile Microscope Offering High-Speed Image Acquisition
Developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Radiological Sciences (an Independent Administrative Institution), the HSP-1000 is a microscope with the ability to acquire images from a wide range of specimens, at high speed.
Acquires clear images from a wide range of specimens at high speed Thanks to line sensors, the HSP-1000 is able to acquire images more than 50 times faster than microscopes using conventional area CCDs. Easy-to-use compensation for uneven illumination means it is also able to acquire high-resolution images from a wide range of specimens.
Photography and examination multi-processing The HSP-1000 combines monochrome and color photography and image processing functions in a single unit. It is also able to handle dimensional measurement and visual inspection simultaneously.
Thanks to its ability to acquire high-resolution color images from a wide range of specimens, the HSP-1000 is expected to find many uses in the biological and medical fields.
High-speed automatic positioning Thanks to an optional autofocus mechanism and tilt mechanism, developed by SEIKO Precision, the HSP-1000 also offers automatic, high-speed adjustment of the distance between the specimen and objective lens and parallel positioning, even with specimens of uneven thickness, by handling photography and autofocus in real time, while the XY stage is moved.
